Adaptability and flexibility are key skills for workers in any workplace. They help you find creative solutions and adapt to changes and challenges. No matter your role, from manager to new starter, this course will help you improve these skills through using practical techniques.
Being flexible and adaptable is a key skill that affects your working life in a positive way. In this course, you’ll learn what makes a person adaptable and flexible and find out the benefits they will bring to your work. We’ll also cover ways to become more flexible and adaptable in three key areas: customer demand, internal change, and innovation.
Don’t you hate it when the supermarket moves everything around? You just stand there like a lemon, wondering where they put the biscuits. In life, things rarely stay the same. Often you set out with a plan only for an unexpected spanner to be thrown in the works. It could be as small as that biscuits example, or even a flat tyre on the way to work. Either way, you need to be able to respond effectively.
When the unexpected happens, it’s important to be adaptable and flexible. You don’t need to be a circus contortionist to respond effectively, just be able to adapt to changes and challenges. And even if you think it sounds difficult, it’s something we can all do. This course will help you improve your adaptability and flexibility, so you can overcome anything thrown your way.
This course looks at adaptability and flexibility in three areas: Customer demand, innovation, and internal change. As such, the course is divided into three separate parts. We’ve used superb animation of a relatable office worker character whose processes change, as well as real-life examples of customer demand and innovation to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability. In another section we have a case study to show the potential consequences when companies don’t adapt. We’ve even given this section some retro flair, you’re welcome.
The learning is delivered with our usual fun and engaging animation, humorous, conversational style and a rich voiceover to bring it all together and to guide learners along the way.
