Assertiveness
In the workplace, it’s important to be assertive. You need to make sure your ideas are heard, and you’re respected by your colleagues. But, if you’re not used to it, being assertive can be tricky at first. Luckily, there are some simple things you can do to practice being more assertive. In this course you’ll learn when it's important to assert yourself, tips to assert yourself, and how to avoid tipping over into aggression.

- Identify situations when you may want to be assertive to build respect and self-confidence
- Be assertive to make yourself heard and build self-respect
- Be assertive without overstepping the mark by being aggressive
