Change Management

Change management is a process which helps to ease transitions within an organisation, specifically aiding the people involved in that change. That might be you, your employees, or your colleagues. Getting to grips with this stuff is an essential part of business and deserves attention, even if your business isn’t in any obvious or immediate peril. Be complacent at your own risk. You’ll particularly benefit from this training if you’re a manager, but even if you don’t have a direct management role, learning about how to cope with change is useful to help yourself and others adapt along with your business.

Sure, we’re nostalgic about it, but with hindsight, it was all a bit rubbish. Particularly the inconvenience of having to rewind those cassettes and rush back to the store to try and avoid those late fees, right?

Times change. It’s something that we can’t stop, even if we wanted to. The rapid advances in technology and changes in attitudes and behaviours mean that you must adapt to survive. Many businesses, like those video stores, fell by the wayside because they couldn’t manage their change effectively.

When you think about someone who does not deal with change well, like us you’re probably thinking of Bruce Banner, or the Hulk, as his angry self is better known as. Not only is he a good representation of what this course is all about, but he makes for some interesting visuals too, which is key for knowledge retention. And fun, of course. The course contains key advice delivered through animation and a bold, engaging story. We follow Bruce’s journey as he does his best to control his temper with change happening around him.
