Ladder Safety Training
Using a ladder can be dangerous. Ladders are involved in many serious (and preventable) workplace accidents. Before you climb, ladders must be checked, positioned and secured correctly. Getting ladder safety wrong can have serious consequences. This ladder safety training course teaches you how to do all these things, as well as recognising and controlling risks.

- Identify the pre-use checks required to make sure a ladder is safe before use
- Identify the correct positioning of a ladder and how to secure it for safe working, to prevent accidents during work
- Recognise common ladder risks and apply safe working practices to ensure the safety of everyone in the area of work involving ladders
