Fire Warden Awareness

Fire is both useful and necessary, but it’s also extremely dangerous. In your workplace, it’s important to have a fire warden and fire marshals to ensure everyone stays safe in the event of a fire, as well as mitigate fire risk around the workplace. You can and should play your part in fire safety, wherever you work, to keep everyone safe.

Learning outcomes:
  • Identify different types of fire hazard and dangers so they can be mitigated
  • Understand the fire triangle and be away of how to break it
  • Describe the effects and consequences of fire
  • Recognise the danger that smoke poses to your health
