Introduction to Safer Recruitment
Safeguarding vulnerable people and children against harm is an important part of fulfilling your duty of care towards them. Creating an environment where they’re safe, involves making sure that only suitable people are allowed to work with them. This course explains how you can do that.

- Define the different levels of criminal record check available to prevent unsuitable applicants from being appointed to work with vulnerable people
- Identify the requirements of a safer recruitment policy statement to clarify recruitment procedures designed to safeguard vulnerable adults and children
