Knowing your worth and being able to ask for it is a useful skill for everyone to learn. This course will show you how to pinpoint the non-negotiables in your life, identify the areas in which you add value to the workplace, and show you how to adopt negotiation skills so you can climb your own ladder.

This course provides guidance on how to identify the things in your life that aren’t up for negotiation and recognise the areas in which you add value. It’ll also show you how to apply negotiation skills in your day-to-day life.

About this course

Ever feel like you’re just working 9 to 5? That you’re barely getting by and it’s all taking and no giving? Sometimes it’s easy to feel you’re being used for your mind and never given credit. Well maybe it’s time to pour yourself a cup of ambition and realise that you have worth. Everyone does. 

Knowing your worth and being unafraid to ask for it is an important skill to master. Negotiation takes place in every area of life. When you know your worth, you’re more confident in setting boundaries, you can see the value you bring, and you’re better able to negotiate for what you deserve. This course will explain everything.

Engaging the learner

It’s not always easy standing up for yourself and asking for what you’re worth. In a work context, there are lots of factors that could make you feel unsure of yourself. That’s why we thought this course was super important. We wanted to empower learners to question their priorities, recognise their abilities, and negotiate for themselves. So who better as inspiration for our course, than Dolly Parton! 

This fun and relatable course uses brilliant animation and interactive learning scenarios to question how the learner might respond in specific negotiation situations. This engagement helps learners come away with confidence and retain knowledge for future negotiations. We’ve also included a handy skills audit template which learners can take away and use to prepare themselves before a workplace negotiation.
