Good Premises Management

When you go to work, you probably take for granted that the lights will be on, the bins will be emptied and the air conditioning is working, right? It’s when those things aren’t right, and you walk into a dark, smelly, overly warm room that you’ll probably notice something is wrong. Unless you work in a sauna, obviously. That stuff is called premises management, and if it’s your building, ultimately, you’re the one who has to know about it.

Men in Black. Because? Well… because it makes the course fun to watch without getting in the way of the learning. When learning is enjoyable, it doesn’t feel like a chore, facts are more easily memorised, and information is more readily retained. And so we’ve got a valid excuse to sing the theme song in the office. Ahem.

We also included an interactive splash screen where you click to reveal slides with information on the roles involved in premises management. There are a lot of them (sixteen - I counted). So, we thought breaking this up into bite sized chunks was definitely the best approach. That way you can learn at your own pace and quickly come back to any points you wanted to recap. There’s no quiz at the end of this course. But there is a handy infographic to download and take away, and a quick breakdown of ISO standard 41001.
