About this course

When you work in sales, you’ll spend a lot of your time talking to customers or clients. With so much for you to do your days can be eaten up by travel. Sometimes, it’s totally unnecessary too. Do you really need to commute to the office to make a call? Thankfully, in modern times, there’s a time-saving solution, which could allow you to work from the comfort of your own home, or another place of your choosing: remote selling.

Since 2020, a significant number of people now work from home. Many businesses have switched to remote selling or a hybrid of remote and face-to-face selling. Sales teams can talk to customers via video call and close deals wherever they are. Remote selling, done well, can be easy and convenient. Could it work for you?

Engaging the learner

Having a relatable theme for this course was paramount, so obviously showing the contrast of working in an office to working in the home was important, and this is what we did. Showing how learners can adapt to this new environment, and the benefits to remote working, made for an entertaining yet engaging course.

As well as great animation, there’s also an interactive portion to the course, asking questions of the learner in a way to test their knowledge. We fashioned this in a way that looks like, well, a home furnishing catalogue so the learner picks the right supporting decor to help them be comfortable. And there are sections that the learner has to click through at their own pace to get tips. There are also some takeaway tasks so learners can continue developing their skills in their own time.

Peace of mind with testing

Peace of mind with testing

This course also has an assessment at the end which allows learners to test their understanding and helps businesses demonstrate a level of competence in the topic.

With a bank of questions learners will get randomised assessments which means if people do fail the assessment, they aren't faced with the same quiz again; after all you want to test learners knowledge and not their ability to remember the right button to press second time around.
