Welfare Facilities
At work, employees rely on their employer to provide the facilities they need to be safe and well. We’re talking about things like toilets, places to get changed and clean spaces to eat or have a drink during a break. These are classed as welfare facilities. You must ensure you’re providing adequate and well-maintained welfare facilities for your employees, if it’s reasonably possible to do so. This is a key part of welfare at work training and will help you stay compliant with workplace regulations.
